Sparring gear requirements
At Alpha Martial Arts, sparring is optional starting at white belt and is required when you hit green belt. To increase safety while sparring, the following pieces of equipment are REQUIRED:
- Headgear, boots, gloves, mouthguard
- Cup (males)
The following pieces of equipment are RECOMMENDED:
- Chest guard
- Shin/instep guards
- Mouthguard case
- Forearm guard
